Understanding Child's Violent Thoughts
In the forums, Jimmy advised one member about her daughter who had started developing destructive thoughts such as killing her grandmother. He said:

Obviously she is trying to communicate something too profound for her words to capture. You are a tuned in parent who seems to be listening. Only a professional who sits with your daughter will be able to get at the real meaning of her communication. Please come back and let us know what you learn. Make sure you find a child psychologist with lots of experience treating her age group. Not all therapists are the same.
